Born in Frankfurt/Germany and a graduate of the University of Florence/Italy, Renate Bever has many years of experience in various industrial sectors: she worked as a sales manager for a world-famous metalworking company and then started her own company in the manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment.
In 2004 she decided to found Ultra System together with Paolo Balagna, the designer of all the detergent formulations, in order to create a worldwide sales network. Today she is CEO of the head office in Martigny and in charge of 5 production sites, one on each continent.​

Paolo Balagna, graduated in chemistry of materials at the University of Turin, in Italy, started his working experience by making environmental analysis for a local laboratory.
He worked as a consultant for the company Grafoplast (branch of 3M) to make material characterization and developments of polymer, inks and solvent which are still currently used in regular production.
During the period from 1999 to 2003, he cooperated with the company Moulds Plus International where he developed the formulations of “Ultra Purge” products, now sold under the brand ChemTrend.
In 2004, together with Renate Bever, he founded the company Ultra System, with the aim to develop new solutions for the plastic processing industry.
Today he is the CTO of the head office in Martigny and in charge of the technical developments in all production sites worldwide of Ultra System SA.
