Presentation topic:

WAVE: New Rules how to drive a PET Drying-System

Redupet_640x282.png

Abstract

Abstract

In a preform system, the PET dryer and injection moulding machine are equally important. While the IMM is optimised in detail by the operator, the dryer, often installed on a mezzanine, is hardly known in detail. This is preferably left to the control system of the dryer manufacturer. From an energy and process point of view, this is often disadvantageous for the preform manufacturer.

WAVE (Waste Analysis Visualization of Energy) now offers completely new rules here: Three simple graphs on a screen immediately show the operator how economical the current drying process actually is, so that he can intervene accordingly. WAVE is a patent-pending innovation from ReduPET GmbH.
