Abstract
It is essential for every PET bottle producer to introduce sustainable products that will excel in today’s marketplace. This includes a well-trained workforce, line efficiency, the use of quality recycled material and lightweight designs, followed up by verification testing. Automated quality testing as well as digitalization of data to provide quick and accurate feedback on the performance of the bottle and the monitoring of trends to make immediate changes to bring the process back to the baseline are necessary – helping line efficiency and quality. This also facilitates utilization of AI tools for predictive analytics and targeted maintenance. However, it is important to note that a large factor in the success of the automation, data and testing is having a highly knowledgeable, trained team. As companies throughout the world continue to move in this direction, it is important that they have the necessary knowledge and tools to optimize their production.

Sudha Jebadurai is President of AGR. She has been with AGR for 25 years, starting as a software engineer and growing through the ranks as Project Manager, Engineering Manager and Director of Operations.
She has worked closely in development of the key products at AGR and also worked with key customers around the world on key projects. She understands the market needs, and how AGR can offer sustainable and efficient solutions for both the glass and the plastic packaging industry. Sudha earned her Engineering degree from Pondicherry Engineering College and Masters of Business Administration from The Ohio State University in 2019.

Ralph Elder joined Agr International in 2024 and serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Agr, Ralph led commercial teams in both the packaging and electrical markets on a global basis. Ralph’s commercial focus has led his teams to numerous accolades, and significant top, and bottom-line growth.
Ralph earned a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He also received an M.B.A. from Averett University. Outside of his professional life, Ralph enjoys time with his family and dogs, while supporting Veterans and Foster Care initiatives.​
