Packaging Lead Nestlé Zone Europe

Packaging Lead Nestlé Zone Europe | Nestlé
Presentation topic:
Packaging Sustainability as part of a larger Sustainability Agenda at Nestlé

Abstract
Abstract
Nestlé is working towards net zero green house gas emissions by 2050. While agriculture and food ingredients is making for over 70% of our current footprint, packaging has a role to play to preserve food and avoid losses on the way from fork to consumption.
But it has its own footprint that we permanently reduce, for example by light weighting and ensuring that packaging materials can be and are recycled. We are therefore following a packaging strategy for circularity which includes Design for Recycling and also the use of recycled materials.
The presentation will give some highlights, figures and projects of what has been achieved and what is still to come.
